Dictionaries and Translation Tools Used
Stefan|Armin|Boxhorn only relies on accredited dictionaries and materials in the respective areas of specialism. Occasionally professional linguistic forums and discussion groups, used exclusively by experienced and professional translators, may be consulted for reference purposes.
For larger technical translation, proofreading or editing projects, a CAT tool (Computer Aided Translation Tool) is used to ensure a quick and consistent completion of your project.
Data Formats
Source documents can either be submitted as a hard copy, or electronically in any of the following data formats:
- all Microsoft Office applications
- Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- Quark Xpress
- HTML
- .pdf
- .jpg
- .bmp
- .txt
Translated, proofread and edited documents can be returned in the original format of the source text or any other format included in the list above.
Should your documents be in a format other than any of the formats listed above, please get in touch to discuss your requirements and to receive a detailed price quote.
Placement of Orders
Following a discussion of your requirements and your acceptance of a free price quote tailored to the characteristics of your individual project and your budgets, you can confirm your order either by e-mail or by telephone. The confirmation of your order constitutes a legally binding contract and all charges apply as stated in the price quote.
Contractual Obligations
The exact terms and conditions of service will be set out in a service contract which will be sent to you prior to the confirmation of the order.
Methods of Payment
Payments can be made by bank transfer in British Pounds or euros, or by Credit or Debit Card via Paypal.
Stefan|Armin|Boxhorn does not accept cheques as a method of payment.
